Team Coaching

Become A High-Performing,
High-Value-Creating Team

Strengthen team alignment and execution—and the human dynamics that shape collective performance—so you can go farther, faster, together.

Align goals and priorities
Strengthen trust and connection
Create stronger ownership and accountability
Accomplish more in less time

A group of talented people doesn’t automatically make a team.

Bringing capable individuals together doesn’t guarantee high performance if:

The team lacks a shared sense of purpose and collective ownership

The same conversations happen over and over

Tensions go unaddressed and important things go unsaid

Decisions are revisited or undone

Priorities compete so progress stalls

To move as one, teams need to align around the work
and show up for each other while doing it.

Aligned Teams Perform Better

High-performing teams focus on both what they need to accomplish and how they work together to make it happen.

Strengthening both helps your team:

Create clarity around purpose and priorities

The team has a shared understanding of what matters most, and collective ownership for making it happen.

Focus energy where it generates the most value

Free up space to think strategically, anticipate what’s ahead, and challenge what’s possible.

Build trust and strengthen connection

Bring ideas forward, question assumptions, and collaborate for the good of the whole.

Get to results faster

Make sharper decisions, improve accountability, and move to action.

Different teams. Different challenges.

Every team has a next level.

Why Denise

Your Team Coach:
Denise Cole, ACC, ACTC

Partnering with teams who are serious about both performance and people.

I look at the whole system--the work, the team dynamics, and their impact on the broader organization.

Each engagement is unique but follows a similar process:

01

Discover

We learn about your organization, the team, and the work ahead.

Interviews and assessments help uncover goals, challenges, and what success looks like.

02

Align

The entire team is part of defining where it needs to go and what needs to change to get there.

Together, we co-create the engagement–priorities, structure, cadence, and how success will be measured.

03

Partner

We work alongside the team through dedicated working sessions and join business-as-usual meetings to provide real-time feedback and coaching.

1:1 coaching can be incorporated where it helps most.

Our approach evolves as the team does.

04

Check In & Adjust

We pause and reflect to see how things are going, course-correct together, and shape what the next stage of team growth looks like.

We stay connected to expectations throughout the engagement so we can address issues early–not discover them at the end.

05

Transition

Together, we recognize and celebrate progress, and reassess where the team is and what it’s ready to sustain on its own.

The goal is a team that can sustain its growth without coach support.

If the team sees the next level it wants to reach, we decide what continued support looks like.

One partner. Advanced capabilities. One integrated approach.

“

We're able to accomplish so much more in less time and we've tackled several large projects that only took a few weeks vs. months (and had been sitting on our to-do list forever).

Our leadership team has been able to step into and take ownership of their roles giving me the space to step out of the day to day.

What surprised me most was how Denise got people talking about things they wouldn't normally say out loud.

She helped us have the difficult conversations—and that clarity, both around our shared goals and around individual roles, changed how the team functioned. People owned their roles instead of protecting their turf.

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions About Team Coaching

What's the difference between a coach and a consultant?

A consultant is typically hired to assess a situation and recommend what to do. As a team coach, I work alongside the team as it tackles real business issues—helping members challenge assumptions, navigate team dynamics, make better decisions, and strengthen how they work together. I bring my own business and leadership experience to the conversation, but the team remains responsible for its decisions, actions, and results.

A high-value-creating team does more than work well together. It brings together different strengths, perspectives, and expertise to produce better thinking, stronger decisions, and greater results than its members could achieve working independently. The value they create extends beyond the team—to the organization, the people they lead and serve, their communities, and what they make possible for the future.

Teams often begin to see progress early in the engagement as they surface issues, have different conversations, and put new ways of working into practice. Lasting change takes time. Team coaching creates opportunities to apply what you’re learning to real work, reflect on progress, and continue strengthening the behaviors and practices that improve performance and relationships over time.

Yes. Team coaching can be especially valuable for organizations with teams or leaders working across multiple locations. Coaching can help strengthen alignment and connection, break down location-based silos, and build greater consistency and collective ownership across the organization. The engagement can be designed around how your teams are structured and where greater alignment and connection would create the most value.

Team coaching happens alongside the real work of the team. We may work together in dedicated team sessions—virtually or through in-person offsites—or I may join business-as-usual meetings to observe the team in action and provide real-time feedback and coaching. Individual coaching can also be incorporated where it supports the team’s goals. The structure and cadence evolve based on what the team needs as it grows.
